We are in the Net!

Greetings,
We have arrived safely and in good order back in Wichita Falls, Texas! Day is night and night is day for weary travellers. At this point, nothing has been sorted out. New lights are shining out in this world. So give me a few days to sort through soul boggling events and I will give an accounting of this glorious pilgrimage to the Holiest places in the Baha'i world.
Thanks,
KattPhillips

Last Day in Wichita Falls

Yes,
This is Friday, our last day in Wichita Falls, TEXAS. It is not raining, thank God, and some flood waters have receded. We are nearly finished packing. My friend Gordon Dobbins who helped with all the travel arrangements has flown to New York, which is the City of the Covenant in the Baha'i Faith.
Jeanette Hedayati has been a true inspiration in keeping my kite like emotions from getting entangled in the tree tops. I can hardly believe that tomorrow by this time we will be at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport ready to board and fly away. Jeanette advises that prayers for all folks to "see with understanding eyes and discerning hearts" would be welcomed.
The flood in Wichita Falls, Texas has opened many hearts of many citizens here and the countenances encountered are radiant. People are demonstrating true compassion toward their neighbors. This is a wonderful development. I hope that it continues even when the mud rings are no longer visible. God's love is like a flood, it is pervasive and thorough and soaks deep into the soil of our hearts. I will surely pray for all in the Wichita Falls area as I do love these folks around here.
I hope to transfer impressions and experiences from my paper notebook to this blog/diary as soon as we land in Haifa.
Flying Away,
Katt

Pre-travel tidbits

Just to let you know . . .
Fort Worth, TX: Ana's car trouble has passed yet she has been rained out of her apartment and is living in a demo apartment for about a week. She spotted the FedEx truck yesterday evening and ran out to meet the fellow who delivered her passport.

Wichita Falls, TX: Here our other car has been repaired, so two are available for use now. The home air conditioning is out and must stay out until we return from Haifa, Israel. We are going to have our Ruhi Book 4 Study Circle this evening and the children and youth of the Baha'i community will assemble small bags of candy and prayers for the flood victims in town. One really has to expect a little give and take where the spirit is concerned.

Fort Worth: Gordon's Internet is out for a while and he has helped so much with travel arrangements. We expect to hear from him soon by phone.

Wichita Falls: Jasmine and I have begun our notebooks for the trip. We are listing prayers and names to be recited in the Holy Shrines in Haifa and Akka. So many incindents of open-heartedness and kindness are happening now. If you have ever read "Celstine Prophecies," you know how these spiritual events take place. I believe for sure that when one puts forth the tiniest bit of effort in God's path, one reaps a disproportionate reward. So I am asking Baha'u'Allah to increase my astonishment in Him!

Carroll Wilson, thanks

Many thanks go to Mr. Carroll Wilson for the mention of BLOG. I wanted to keep a diary of our travels for posterity.

Major Thanks to . . .

Major thanks go to Mr. Mac Thornberry, Ms. Roberta Preston and staff of the Mac Thornberry Congressional Office here in Wichita Falls, Texas for their dedicated service securing expedition of 4 of our passports! This has relieved my heart and some few nerves so that I can now begin packing for the journey.
